5 Amazing Get Ready For School Tips | Back to School #2

Can't you fall asleep the evening before school ? Are you stressed? Did you make plans but are afraid not to stick to them? Well then, my friend, I totally understand you! Here are my 5 best get ready for school tips!

I know that a lot of people make promises to themselves but get lost in them after 2 weeks, I have that problem too, although last year went pretty great if I may say so. I am sure this is going to help you!

- Waking up in the morning, especially in winter is very hard, but there is one thing that we actually adjust to, it's the time. When school is over (Holiday) we find ourselfves waking up at the time we normally wake up for school, that's because our body is prepared and used to it. It's a routine. If you sleep earlier, and wake up earlier it's much easier to concentrate in class and wake-up. So make sure that 2-3 days before school you start to sleep on time (before 11Pm)and... this is optional but I would suggest waking up on the time you would normaly wake up for school. It creates a routine and you will eventually get used to it.

- I Always, Always forget something if I prepare my bag in the morning, so prepare clothes and your school bag the night before PLUS you can sleep longer in the morning :)

-Make a Morning list: *My alarm goes of at 6.30 am, I stay about 15 min in bed trying to motivate myself for the day, but this also takes, sometimes, longer then 30 min... 7 Am... Crap... Need to get reading in 30 min... *
I am pretty sure I am not the only one with this problem thats why now I made a morning list:
Do I have:
-My Keys
-My Scarve
-My Lunch
-My Phone
-My earphones
??
LIFE SAVING! Also keep them al at the same place so that your not searching for your keys... It's hard to search for your keys when you are stressed out and yelling at your sister because you can't find them... happend to me... lots and lots of times...

- Know the look you are going for, I usually don't go crazy with make-up to school... “Why waking up earlier and lose one hour of sleep for make-up! Crazy people...”. But when I do want to put make-up on I know exactly what I am going for, so that makes it a lot quicker to do. Oh and I hate eyeliner when I am going to school! I never get it right...

- Get a Routine/ Make a schedule. First things First, you will be able to stick to it if you stay realistic! Don't make it to Schedule like, do as if everything takes 3 hours to do even if it takes just 30 min, this way you'll have enough time and space to do your thing. By creating a routine, you create a certain way of living, the pattern of your life, and this will help you stay on track, but remember, it takes a month before it becomes your routine! But the most important is making it realistic.

“This time I am going to keep up my homework and do it the right way!” Is this also your mindset every beginning of the year? Yes? Well guess what... Mine Too! But at a moment you really don't keep it up as good as you hoped so ... Here are my Tips and Tricks...

At school ...

I used to take the loos paper and just put it in my bag and never find them back when I needed them... that caused me a lot of bad grades... but Last year I found a method, god I wish I knew that forever!

Have An Organizer: It takes not even 20 second to take the thing out of your bag, open it, put the paper in it, close it and put it right back in your bag. Why is it so great? You have sections in it and when you open it, it's very easy to just know where to place it. It saved my life last year!

Do you forget your notebook a lot? I know I do... but the weird thing is I have my schoolbooks with me! Keep a Project book in your bag. It has removal sections and a lot of paper, it looks like a note book but much thicker. The teacher won't even notice you forgot your notebook :)

Cool/Cute School supplies are one of my favorite DIYs. Make your notebooks, pens, agenda your style, add some quotes, stories and stuff so that if you'r bored you can look at something and read a little. You can also draw if you want too.

At Home ...

'While doing my homework I see my Phone going on... Oh! He! Someone Snapped me! No Joëlle! No! You'r doing your homework, it's important! *Another Snap!* Ah man! I have to look... No! I can't Look ...' one hour later... still not done with homework because of the thing... Your phone.... Put your WiFi off or put you Phone away! It's only distracting you! It may be difficult at the beginning, but you'll get used to it. It's really worth to try.

Clean Desk, Organized desk is the trick to remember things easy, just like chewing-gum flavors. It's more fun... nice to work at a clean desk then a dirty, messy and unorganized right?!

There is a place in the entire world that will always be a part of you, if you lived there or not. It’s a place that when you are there you feel just at the right place. This is the feeling that I have at this very moment about La Bourgogne-France.

Deep down, I always knew I loved this place, that I could never, ever forget this place. I knew but denied it. I wanted to go away from this place because it reminded me of the moment I was bullied. I was excited; I was going to live a better life in the Netherlands. If there is one thing that I would have regretted most about my life is wishing for moving to the Netherlands. God I regret that wish so much. My life could be bad or could be so positive if I stayed here. Nobody will ever know.
When I was,for the first time, back in France after longer than half a year, I felt back in love with this place. The calmth, the beauty and the “I don’t care, it will come one day” vipes. We were staying at a guest house, lovely place! There was a lake and you could feel the calmness running through your veins. The evening before we needed to go on the road back to the Netherlands I remember saying to my mum: “I don’t want to go back… I love it here”. Unfortunately we had no choice, my dad was waiting and school was going to start again in a few days.

Next time I went to France was with my dad and my mum, amazing time; I couldn’t remember my dad being so happy and my mum too.

Another time I went was with my sister and my mum, the house of my mum was almost done and it looked Fantastic! I had an amazing time but I felt down, down at the idea that in a few days the road to the Netherlands would come. I didn’t want… I cried, my mum didn’t know because I cried from the inside.

And yes here we are, in Franc again, sitting on the couch, I just saw my old house again. It was painful, I mean, I have lived there for 13 years! I realized that here I have friends, I feel no stress, it feels like Home. What do I have in the Netherlands actually? Nothing. I don’t feel at home (even though my room is super cozy with all the candles and pillows), I have no friends what so ever… and It feels stressed! …I cried. Yes I cried, in the arms of my mother. My mother knew exactly what I meant, she had this feeling when we moved to the Netherlands, that’s why she bought this house. I wished I would be able to come with her always!

Although I regret the wish I made once, I wouldn’t turn the time back. Everything happens for a reason. I’ve had quite some experiences in the Netherlands but it made me stronger, and exactly the person I am right know. Yes I’ve become insecure but it also made me see things I had never seen that way. It made me a more spiritual person, and a lot stronger then I was in the France (I used to cry at every comment someone had about me… yeah…).
