I have been watching this cat in the prairie for I guess ten minutes now. It hasn't moved, he just sits there, looking around him. Seeing something, getting up and then just sits again. Observing and listening what happens around him. His ear moved from forward to backward, his head turns slightly looking back and forth. But still sitting in the same spot. I guess his butt made it warm and he doesn't want to move anymore hihi.
Oh wait, there is action, he see's something, his focus his straight, he gets up... and nope, he sit's again. But then he hears something, his curiosity gets him moving, he stands up, moves toward the sound, one paw at the time, moving with utmost carefulness and gentleness.
My thought; what is going to be his next move now?
He is just looking, again, observing. And suddenly I only see his tail whisking in the air. Where did the rest of his body go?
What did I miss? Does he finally have its prey?
And he moves again and goes back home. Without a prey as far as I can tell.

This morning I was doing the exact same thing as this cat. I sat there, looking outside with a cup of tea. I just woke up. It was around 8 a clock ish. I saw all different kind of birds, size Small to Large. I got up but then saw another bird, I sat again. Just looking and observing nature. When most birds were in the back of the garden and I could barely see them anymore I almost started crying.
I realized again how beautiful nature is. The beautiful colors all these birds had and how they were searching for food during winter. It remembered me the time I was still in synch with nature. When I didn't care if it was cold or warm, and just went outside and walked and played outside. I miss that person in me.

This is one thing that will help me push myself to achieve my dreams more. I want to be able to live in a small house, with nature all around me, being connected again. And following my passion as a photographer and herbal medicine one day hopefully!

What pushes you toward your dream?

Lots of love

Every time I read a post on how to cleanse your face 'the right way' I feel a little disappointed in the post, there is so much more than just making sure your face is cleansed. I'll tell you exactly the 3 steps you need to do to make sure you face is in perfect condition!

I feel like ever beauty blogger should now the 3 steps I am going to tell you, especially when you are giving advice to your friends! When they only mention you should cleanse your face, they're right, but not entirely because there is so much more you need to do to keep your skin healthy. I made a post on my Skin Care Ritual (have a look ;) ) and as you can tell it is a very minimal skin care ritual. It doesn't need to be big, with all sort of oils, no, sometimes, less is more. So let me tell you what you actually need to do to have a healthy skin!

The first step and this is also the step that I see everyone mentioning: Cleansing.
Before you start cleansing, by the way, you need to make sure that most of you makeup is removed, otherwise this will not have any effect on your skin what so ever. After having removed the makeup you can start by cleansing your face. A cleanser is supposed to clean you face in a deeper way, to make sure that no dirt, left-overs of your makeup and other bacteria's stays in your face. Rinse you face very well, you want nothing of the product left-overs on your skin, this will only destroy your face.
I would suggest taking a cleanser that is soap free, I know the one I use is soap free. The reason I recommend this is because a soap cleanser dries your skin out and doesn't give your skin a nutritious feeling.

The second step is one a lot of people forget I noticed. The Toner.
Toning you face is actually the most important thing of you entire cleansing ritual. The toner repair the damage that your cleanser made to you skin. It makes it feel hydrated and fresh. You do not want to forget that some cleansers contain soap, this dries your skin out, the cleansers who doesn't have soap still lowers a little your skin pH,some skin types repair the damage easier but some skin sorts don't and this can leave you with a very dry, irritated feeling. So you absolutely want to re-balance the pH of your skin with a Toner.

Third step: moisturizing.
This one is the finishing touch. Making sure that you skin is protected, hydrated and nourished will give you that extra fresh feeling. I highly recommend still doing this so that you get less dirt in your face and your face will stay in a better condition for a longer amount of time.

disclaimer: These are the basic steps, steps that I hear most people forget, I am not saying everybody is forgetting to mention these steps! This, on the other hand might not work for some people because they have a specific acne problem. I have a friend who follows all these steps but still need extra product from her dermatologist.

So, how do you keep your acne away?

I am that kind of person that stays with the same make-up forever! And because I love these products so much, I am making a post about them! Yeah! I told you more beauty related post were coming! ;)

Okey, well, I have again a new skin care routine... surprise!!!! I just love trying new things. My skin gets used to some routines and I don't know why but it just didn't work for me anymore. So for about 1/2 weeks I have been using this one and, so far... I enjoy it! Here is my New Skin Care Routine!

Disclaimer: Lately I have been looking if most of my products are cruelty-free... I know, I know, Nivea isn't a 100% cruelty free but hear me out, I already bought that product when I didn't really thought about cruelty-free, and to just throw it away is for me too much, I bought it, it's already done, so I better finish it and take care to make a better choice next time.

As you can tell my face routine has diminished! Yeah, Lately I am all about becoming more minimal, and same goes for my face cleansing routine. In the first face care routine I used the rituals body lotion from the collection "happy Buddha", there was only one downside to it, and that is that it isn't made for the face, it's way to nourishing for the face. the reason my face react so well on it was because I used a facial cleanser for people with oily skin, my skin is a combination of normal/oily, I shouldn't have used this cleanser in the first place because it started drying my skin out.
So the time I was at rituals (awesome experience, you can read The Magic Sensation of Ritual Here) I learned more about each product and asked her what to do with my skin, she did advise me first the 24H hydrating Gel Cream, this is an active hydrating complex with natural antioxidants.  This cream does wonders to my skin (except for the periods I am on my period...). I totally love it, it smells good, and you need just a very small amount for your entire face! Be careful tho with applying, don't put too much on your face, it's a very strong product and if you put too much on it... your skin will not react well to it... you won't have any benefits from it, so a little bit goes a long way ;)

So after using it for 3 weeks I noticed a beautiful change in my skin! (unfortunately, I don't have any comparing pictures...) Then I stopped using the cleanser I was using, and switched to the Sensational Soft Cleanser, this product is one of my favorite cleanser I have ever tried! Oh My Loving God! This product has calming botanical extracts, and when you apply it and massage it over your face, it will turn into an oil, now I am not a big oil fan but this product will become a lotion when you add water. The oil makes sure all the dirt and make-up is removed from you face and the lotion nourishes your face! Since I've been using it my face is in a better state than before.

The reason I start by calling this My Skin Care Ritual is because it almost feels like a ritual, a moment for myself to relax and clean my face after having a long and exhausting day at school/work ... I love the idea of Rituals, to make every routine a Ritual!

So, first I clean my face with
