Do Not Only Pursue Your Dream!

Having a dream is a beautiful thing. Knowing what you want in life is key to becoming successful. Whatever that means to you. But there are a few things I have noticed that can really ruin you while you are in the pursuit of making your dream come true. And we don’t want other people to fall in this mistake. We want you to be able to go for your dream and make it as pain-free as possible.

The first thing I want to touch on is… only highlighting the positive side of it.
While we create our dream we only highlight the positive side of it, we leave out the finances, the consequences that may come, the sacrifices that we will have to make to achieve it. And I’m not saying you should mention those and rethinking your dream, but it is good to be aware of it. It will make you a prepared human being!

The second thing is that we often only see our dream and refuse to do something else while we are busy making our dream a reality. Like I said, for example, the finances, we have to be aware of our expenses and our income, sometimes achieving what you want in life cost a lot of money, time and effort. If you are lucky, you win the lottery or get money from your parents to make it a reality, but we often have to just work for it. Sometimes we have to do something we don’t like, but while doing that keep searching for something you might like. Look for different jobs and try them all, maybe you can find something that you will like for a longer period. And you will get a lot of experiences doing this too!
We don’t see the tremendous possibilities that come to us. We don’t see the signs of the universe anymore. For this one, I am a little bit relying on the beginning of “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho. You see, the universe just gives you what you need at this exact moment. Sometimes you have moments like WOW THANK YOU! And sometimes you have moments like “Damn UNIVERSE, why aren’t you helping me??!!” Try to see what the Universe is trying to tell you. Maybe it is telling to choose another path, maybe it is trying to show that you should look at it in a different way. Try to find it out. Look for the greater good in every situation. But mostly, try to see where it is helping you and where it isn’t. And try to figure out the “why”.
And last but not least, my advice is… It’s good to be prepared. But it is also good to just let things happen.
